As 1,000 utility workers arrived to restore the city, we were determined to craft a reliable safe space for this brave crew. Collaborating closely with local agencies, we repurposed an adjacent parking lot to stage trucks, freeing up space for the base camp. Within 24 hours from the call, we deployed more than 40 sleeper trailers, 12 shower trailers, and a cozy dining tent. More importantly, we achieved this Herculean task with zero recordables while providing all necessary equipment, consumables, and nourishing food at competitive rates.

Navigating through intense challenges, we were able to create a way where there was no way, by delivering our assets by barge. Installing a complete base camp in the swampy aftermath, we housed 750 workers, providing cozy lodgings, dining tents, full-service laundry, and well-equipped mobilr restrooms and showers. Our response to the muddy terrain? Excess flooring for drive paths and 19 loads of gravel to firm the grounds. To ensure a full circle of commitment, it took us only three days to dismantle the camp and restore the area to its pre-storm damage state.

We masterfully designed and installed a sophisticated temporary housing and dining solution for Hurricane Ian recovery heroes. Our strategic approach saw the implementation of drive paths to transport equipment; daily earthwork using a Bobcat to tackle muddy areas, and a generous supply of bug spray to deter the ever-encroaching pests. The result was an exceptional 96-person base camp, complete with a 250-seat dining tent, four sleeper trailers for mobile lodging, two comfortable restroom trailers, and full-service mobile laundry.

With strategic pre-planning and swift moves, we exceeded expectations in providing a hot meal within 8 hours of arrival and accommodations within 10 hours vs the traditional 24-hour setup timeframe. We adapted rapidly for each capacity surge of 500 utility workers without compromising the quality of service. By the fifth day, we seamlessly provided services for 1800 utility workers, expertly handling changing demands and working in tandem with the client to best support crisis management.
